The government of Punjab has announced the admissions for the Lady Health Visitor (LHV) course across the province.
The Department of Health has released an official notification, offering admission to the females of Punjab who want to pursue for these courses.
According to the notification, the Health and Population Department have set midwifery schools in the District Health Development Centres (DHDCs), and also in the selected Tehsil Head Quarter (THQ) hospitals.
The last date to apply for the course is April 30, 2026.
Eligibility criteria
Only female candidates who meet the following eligibility criteria can apply for the Lady Health Visitor Course:
- FSc. Pre Medical (done through any board)
- At least 50% marks in Matric Science (with subjects Biology, Physics, and Chemistry)
- Must have a domicile of Punjab.
- In the case of Hafiz-e-Quran, the candidate must possess a certificate from a verified institution.
- Age: Must be 35 at the last date of admission; no further age relaxation will be given.

How to apply for the Lady Health Visitor (LHV) Course?
The candidates who want to apply for the Lady Health Visitor (LHV) course can apply at the official website of the Health and Population Department.
The mode of application will be online at the official website; no other source to apply for the course will be acceptable.
No admission fees or monthly fees will be required, as it is all free of cost.
The classes will be commenced from May 2, 2026.
