The Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) has announced the Phase-II written examination result of Punjab PMS examination 2025.
According to the official result issued on September 14, 2026, a total of 344 candidates have provisionally qualified for the next stage of the recruitment process. They will now appear in the psychological assessment and interview.
The written examination was conducted from April 24 to May 11, 2026.
The recruitment process is being conducted against a total of 119 BS-17 posts in different Punjab government departments.

Excise and Taxation Officer – 25 posts

Next stage of PMS
PPSC said that letter for the psychological assessment and interviews will soon be uploaded to its official website. Qualified candidates will also receive information through SMS and email.
Candidates must meet all eligibility requirements mentioned in the original advertisement and relevant service rules. They will also be required to bring their academic certificates and other necessary documents when appearing for the psychological assessment and interview.
The commission has made it clear that passing the written examination does not guarantee final selection. The 344 candidates have only been provisionally cleared for the next stage.
Candidates who did not qualify will be able to download their provisional result intimation cards through the Multiple Paper DMC option once they are uploaded. These cards will remain available on the PPSC website for 30 days.
Those who want their examination papers rechecked can submit an application within seven days of the result declaration. An original online deposit receipt of Rs200 as the rechecking fee is required with the request. Applications submitted after the seven days will not be entertained.
The result has been issued under Case No. 36-RC/2025 and is dated September 14, 2026.

FPSC rescheduled CSS 2027 preliminary test to October 10
The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) has changed the date of the MCQ Preliminary Test (MPT) for the CSS Competitive Examination 2027.
According to an official public notice issued by FPSC, the CSS 2027 MPT will now be conducted on October 10, 2026 (Saturday).
The examination was previously scheduled to take place on September 27, 2026 (Sunday).
