Punjab announces 1,400 Rescue 1122 internships for nursing, allied health students

The Punjab government has announced 1,400 internship opportunities under the Chief Minister Internship Program in partnership with Rescue 1122, according to reports on Friday.

The program is expected to provide practical training to young healthcare professionals in emergency response and public safety services.

Punjab Rescue 1122 internships: eligibility

According to the official advertisement for the CM internship Program, candidates with qualifications in Nursing, Paramedical Sciences, or Allied Health Sciences can apply.

Applicants must hold a diploma or degree from a recognised board, council, or university and have secured at least a second division.

The program is open only to Punjab domicile holders between the ages of 18 and 30.

Officials said the initiative will give participants hands-on experience in emergency medical care and rescue operations.

It will also help the participating young professionals to improve their skills while working in a real world environment.

The advertisement also stated that interns who show outstanding performance may be considered for future employment with Rescue 1122.
