Chief Minister of Punjab Maryam Nawaz announced 720 residential flats for the labourers in Punjab. Maryam Nawaz said in her address at the distribution ceremony of the flat that “Apni Chat -Apna Ghar” is her favourite programme.

CM Punjab also said that the Punjab government will continue its struggle for the betterment of labourers in Punjab. Maryam Nawaz also confirmed that the Punjab government has already provided one lakh houses to the labourers and poor people in Punjab.

CM Punjab remarked that Brazil acknowledged “Suthra Punjab” as the best initiative by the Punjab government.

She also told the participant that she will leave for Baku next week and present there the “Apni Chat Apna Ghar” initiative by the Punjab government.

Similarly, Maryam Nawaz also praised the team of the “Apni Chat Apna Ghar” programme for doing the best work. She assured that the Punjab government will also provide the fee land to the landless people in Punjab.

Earlier, Chief Minister of Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif warned that housing society owners will face arrest if citizens fall into open manholes in future incidents.

According to details, she issued the warning while chairing a meeting of commissioners in which officials briefed her on development projects across different districts of Punjab.

The Chief Minister expressed strong anger over the recent death of a three-year-old girl in Faisalabad who fell into an open sewer. She said such negligence will not be tolerated in any housing society.

She directed commissioners to take monthly written affidavits from all private housing societies, confirming that no manholes remain open within their areas. She also ordered that formal notices be issued to all housing societies across the province to ensure compliance with safety standards.
