Pakistani actress Sadia Khan has made her debut at the Cannes Film Festival 2026.
In a post on Instagram, she posted a video of her look at Cannes, saying, “Stepping into a moment I once only imagined. Feeling grateful, glamorous, emotional, and completely present in every second of it.”
“Surely one of the most beautiful moments of my life with so much gratitude in my heart”, added Sadia Khan.
The actress wore a gown by Gaby Charbachy.
A day earlier, Sanam Saeed made a gorgeous debut at the Cannes Film Festival 2026.
It is pertinent to mention that she has been named an inaugural honoree of Us Studios’ “South Asian Women Excellence in Cinema & Global Art” initiative, which aims to recognise the significant contributions of women in cinema and creative arts.
Earlier, Sanam said that she would be paying tribute to legendary Shamim Ara, whose “life doesn’t follow the usual arc of rise, fall, and fade”, which “was something rare, rise, dominance, reinvention, legacy”.
“In a male-dominated industry, Begum Shamim Ara quietly broke the biggest boundaries, opening doors for women behind the camera,” Sanam said in a video clip posted on her official Instagram page ahead of her Cannes appearance.
Pakistani fashion designer Hussain Rehar has also made his debut at Cannes this year with a special showcase of his latest collection titled Lahore A Knot in South Asia’s Loom.
The invite-only exhibition is scheduled to take place at Château St George alongside one of the world’s biggest entertainment and fashion events.
According to the designer, this marks the first time a Pakistani fashion label will present its work alongside internationally renowned fashion houses, including Gucci and Roberto Cavalli.
