WEB DESK: Famous climber Samina Baig has made history as she has climbed the South Pole. She is currently the first Pakistani to accomplish a difficult ski trip, “The Last Degree”.
This extraordinary accomplishment brings her closer to accomplishing the honorable “Explorers Grand Slam”.
Earlier, Samina had also climbed Mount Everest in 2013 and conquered the renowned Seven Summits. She also explored the dangerous mountains of K2 and Nanga Parbat.
She had to go through a trip of severe weather conditions, accompanied by exhaustion in the vast Antarctic desert.
Nevertheless, she managed to stick to the dream despite the unattainable circumstances. Moreover, she carried Pakistani and Ismaili flags all through her walk.
Samina thanked a lot to her family, sponsors, and her expedition team, who were of great support.
Particularly, she wanted to see young women follow their ambitious goals as a result of her success.
She has demonstrated that nothing can stop a determined person and a strong faith since she is the first woman to sail to the South Pole.
Samina Baig still pushes the boundaries of human capability. The recent triumph of Pakistan can be seen as a national pride and bravery.
