Saudi Arabia has introduced a new comprehensive package for international pilgrims ahead of the 2027 Hajj season, covering key services from arrival in the kingdom until departure.
The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah said the package would be provided through a single electronic agreement on the Electronic Path platform.
According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the package brings together four main services: facilities at the holy sites, accommodation in Makkah and Madinah, transport and catering.
Pilgrims will also be able to access additional optional services under the new arrangements.
The ministry said foreign Hajj affairs offices and agencies would be able to use the framework to develop programmes tailored to different groups of pilgrims.
The arrangements are designed to provide flexibility while setting out the services covered by the agreement, according to the ministry.
Saudi authorities said the initiative was part of their preparations for the upcoming Hajj season and was intended to streamline arrangements for pilgrims travelling to the kingdom from abroad.
The ministry said the measures were also aligned with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 and the Pilgrim Experience Program.
The Saudi government has been introducing digital services and other measures aimed at making the Hajj journey more organised and accessible for pilgrims.
The new package is expected to form part of preparations for the 2027 Hajj season, although details of specific programmes and prices will depend on the arrangements made by authorised Hajj offices and agencies.
