Security forces have eliminated nine Fitna Al Hindustan Khwarij during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) conducted along the N-25 highway between Jhao Cross and Kararo in Balochistan.

The operation was launched after security agencies received credible intelligence about the presence of terrorists who had allegedly blocked the highway and were extorting money from commuters and local residents.

According to sources, security forces engaged the terrorists in a fierce exchange of fire, killing nine Khwarij and injuring several others. It was a major blow to the terrorists’ network operating in the area.

During the operation, three security personnel embraced martyrdom, while several others sustained injuries and were shifted for medical treatment.

Authorities said the successful operation reflects the state’s resolve to safeguard the lives and property of citizens, secure national highways, and maintain peace in Balochistan. They added that security forces will continue intelligence-based operations against terrorist groups threatening public safety.
