Former Australian fast bowler Shaun Tait has stepped down from his role as Bangladesh’s pace bowling coach, citing family reasons for his decision.
According to reports, Tait informed the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) that he was unable to continue in the position due to personal commitments. His departure comes despite having a contract that was set to run until the 2027 ODI World Cup.
Tait said that the past 12 months with the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) and the national team had been a wonderful experience.
Former Bangladesh fast bowler Talha Jubair is expected to be appointed as the interim fast-bowling coach for the upcoming series against Australia.
