The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has invited applications from young, talented and energetic candidates for the 29th batch of the State Bank Officers Training Scheme (SBOTS).
According to the announcement, successful candidates will have the opportunity to pursue careers in several key areas of the central bank, including Monetary Policy, Macroeconomic Research and Data, Banking Policy and Supervision, Financial Markets and Foreign Exchange, Reserve Management, Islamic Finance, Financial Inclusion and Digital Financial Services.
The programme also offers career opportunities in IT, Finance and Risk Management, Internal Audit, External Communications, Strategic Planning and Human Resources.
The SBP said interested candidates can submit their applications through the prescribed procedure. The last date to apply is September 14, 2026.
Candidates have been advised to review the detailed eligibility criteria and application procedure on the State Bank of Pakistan’s official website before submitting their applications.
On the other hand, Google has opened applications for several new jobs in Pakistan, including senior roles in education, advertising and analytics.
The technology company is currently listing vacancies in Karachi, as it looks to expand its work with businesses and institutions in the country.
Among the advertised jobs are an Education Lead, an Account Manager for Technology and Consumer Goods, and an Analytical Lead for Planning and Measurement.
Education Lead
The Education Lead is a senior position focused on increasing the adoption of Google’s technology in the education sector.
Applicants are required to have at least a bachelor’s degree, or equivalent practical experience, as well as five years of experience in technology sales or another customer-facing sales role.
Google says it is particularly interested in candidates with experience in technology sales, strategic partnerships, business development and education technology.
The successful candidate will work with education stakeholders, develop partnerships and contribute to Google’s strategy for the education sector.
Account Manager
Google is also recruiting an Account Manager for Technology and Consumer Goods as part of its Large Customer Sales team in Karachi.
The role requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and at least two years of experience in areas such as digital advertising, sales, business development or digital marketing.
Candidates must be fluent in both English and Urdu.
The successful applicant will work with major businesses and advertising partners in Pakistan, helping them develop digital marketing strategies and improve the performance of their campaigns using Google’s advertising products.
Experience in emerging markets, fintech and performance marketing is listed as an advantage.
