Shinobi: Art of Vengeance is now coming to Nintendo Switch 2 this September.
The game is currently available on the Switch.
However, the Switch 2 is said to show better resolutions and will be available both digitally and physically on September 24, 2026.
Shinobi: Art of Vengeance is expected to come in a Standard Edition and Deluxe Edition. It will include the Sega Villains DLC that adds boss fights against Sega characters like Dr Eggman.
Shinobi: Art of Vengeance story and gameplay
The game’s story centers on hero Joe Musashi embarking on a quest of revenge after his village is destroyed.
It was developed by Streets of Rage 4 creators. Lizard Cube and published by Sega.
It was released for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
A cool feature called the ‘Shinobi Execution’ allows Musashi to defeat all tagged enemies at once.
Musashi can be seen going about the quest with a sword and kunai. He can also rely on magical powers called Ninpo to silence his enemies.
The player can gain additional combat bonuses by equipping amulets.
Since Musashi is a ninja, his quick movements allow him to perform tricks such as double jumps, dashing across the air and dodge rolling.
Players can also spend the in-game currency, gold to get new tools, combat moves along with upgrades.
Xbox adds three new games to Game Pass
Earlier, Xbox announced the latest additions Game Pass list including Call of Duty: Vanguard, EA Sports FC 2026 and Junkster from June 16 to 18.
However, one title which was scheduled to join the Game Pass on June 17, Shift of Midnight is now suffering a delay.
According to the official Xbox website, Call of Duty: Vanguard requires Xbox Game Pass Essential, Premium or Ultimate for its online multplayer.
In April, the Xbox Game Pass Starter Edition came out with a leaked library of nearly 60 games.
The list features some popular titles such as Doom 64, Fallout 4, Halo 5: Guardians, Psychonauts, Stardew Valley and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge.
