SSGC announces load shedding relief for Karachi consumers

The Sui Southern Gas Company Limited (SSGC) has announced a temporary load shedding relief for the consumers of Karachi during the Eid-ul-Azha holidays.

The officials of the SSGC said that the decision has been taken to provide an uninterrupted gas supply to the Karachiites.

According to the officials of the SSGC, a few hours of relief will be provided to the consumers during Sehri on May 26, due to the Day of Arafat.

This will allow the residents to prepare their Sehri without any problem.

The gas will be supplied to the consumers at 03:00am for preparing Sehri, while the shutdown will be reimplemented at 10:00am on May 26.

The loadshedding will continue onwards as per the previous schedule.

Talking about the gas supply during the Eid days, the consumers will be provided with 18 hours of uninterrupted gas supply during the three days of Eid.

Gas will be available till late midnight on Chaand raat, said the officials of the SSGC.

SSGC added that the gas will be supplied from 05:00am to 11:00pm on the first day of Eid.

The gas supply is scheduled from 06:00am to 11:00pm on the second and third of Eid, stated the SSGC.

The new schedule will be in effect from tomorrow (May 26, Tuesday).

SNGPL issues Eid-ul-Azha gas schedule

Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) has prepared a special gas supply schedule for Eid-ul-Azha.

According to sources, consumers will receive gas supply for 18 hours on all three days of Eid-ul-Azha, while gas will be provided with full pressure across all districts under the company’s network.

Officials said that on the first day of Eid, gas will be supplied from 5:00 am until 11:00 pm. On the second and third days of Eid, gas will remain available from 6:00 am to 11:00 pm.

The company will also ensure an uninterrupted gas supply with proper pressure until midnight on Chand Raat.

Sources added that the special Eid-ul-Azha gas supply schedule will come into effect from tomorrow.
