The ICC has started selling tickets for the semi-finals and final for the men’s T20 World Cup. However, Sri Lanka and India are co-hosting the T20 World Cup, and currently, the matches of the Super 8 stage are underway.
The ICC has started selling tickets for the knockout stage, and these tickets will be available for sale from 7 pm on Tuesday. If you want to buy the tickets for the semi-final and final, you can visit tickets.t20worldcup.com.
According to the ICC’s spokesperson, the fans can buy the tickets online for the first and second semi-finals scheduled for March 4 and 5, as well as the tickets for the final, which is scheduled for March 8.
However, no decision has been made about the venue of the first semi-finals. As per the media reports so far, the venue for the T20 World Cup semi-final could be the R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium in Colombo or Eden Gardens in Kolkata, India.
Venue for the semi-final if Pakistan qualifies
The venue for the T20 World Cup’s semi-final will be R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium in Colombo on March 4. If Pakistan does not qualify but Sri Lanka makes it to the final four and faces a team other than India, this semi-final will still be played in Colombo.
If India and Sri Lanka face each other in the semi-final, then the semi-final will be played in Eden Gardens Stadium in Kolkata, India.
