Celebrities Tauseeq Haider and Farah Sadia have come out with a light hearted video to debunk rumours that they’ve secretly tied the knot, but also advised against the negative consequences of rumours.
The two joked about their surprise at waking up to find they were “already married” after reports and images depicting their wedding were circulated on social media by users, which, as they said in the video, were made by AI.
“They were so convincing I for a moment thought I may have married without knowing it,” said Tauseeq Haider, who joked that the edited photos were so real it was hard to tell.
Farah Sadia laughed along as well, and both of them commented on the images generated by the AI in a humorous way.
The duo joked that if the creators on YouTube and social media pages had profited from the falsehoods, they at least should get a piece of the profits.

They laughed at those behind spreading the rumours and said that they should pay them.
But soon, the discussion shifted to serious matters, both parties condemning the dissemination of fake news for online opinions and money.
They said that rumours have the potential to impact not only the people involved but also the family members, children, and relatives as well.
Tauseeq asked if individuals were being paid to make up lies and concluded that he was embarrassed that they were creating something that wasn’t substantial.
He appealed to content creators to not spread false information just to gain clicks and viewer engagement.
In a bid to clear the air, the duo announced they have a close friendship and that they are not married.
The playful yet firm reply has since gone viral and garnered many positive comments about the duo’s ability to handle the rumours with humour and bring attention to the implications of misinformation on social media.
