The President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif have congratulated the nation on the successful test of the locally developed Taimoor Weapon System by the Pakistan Air Force (PAF).
President Zardari, while appreciating the PAF for the successful trial, said that the development of advanced weapons locally reflects national capability, determination, and institutional expertise.
He stated that the success of the PAF has further strengthened national defense and reinforced Pakistan’s responsible defense policy for stability in the region. This achievement is an important step in the journey toward self-reliance in national defense.
In his statement, President Zardari praised the efforts, professional dedication, spirit of national service of scientists, engineers and the officers and personnel of the PAF, saying that the promotion of modern technology in the defense sector reflects Pakistan’s commitment to safeguarding its security and sovereignty.

PM Shehbaz has also congratulated the nation on the successful test of the locally developed Taimoor Weapon System by the Pakistan Air Force.
Along with congratulating the Air Force on the successful test, he paid tribute to Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Air Staff Marshal Zaheer Ahmad Babar Sidhu, and the scientists working on the missile system.
The PM appreciated the professionalism, dedication, and unwavering commitment of the Pakistan Air Force in strengthening Pakistan’s defense capabilities and said that with the Taimoor Weapon System, the country’s defense will become even stronger.

Chief Minister of Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah congratulated the Pakistan Air Force on the successful trial of the Taimoor Weapon System. In his statement, he said that the Taimoor Weapon System is a remarkable achievement of the Pakistan Air Force.
He added that Pakistan’s defense capabilities continue to strengthen and that the Pakistan Air Force has recently impressed adversaries with its capabilities. He described the Taimoor Weapon System as a declaration of self-reliance in defense capabilities and stated that Pakistan’s defense is invincible.
The Chief Minister of Sindh also paid tribute to the significant contributions of the participating units, scientists, and engineers.
