The popular streaming service Paramount+ has quietly confirmed the release of Season 2 of the crime drama series MobLand.
The mob series was renewed for Season 2 by Paramount+ in a very short period. The last episode of Season 1 was released in June 2025, and filming for the second season began mid-November 2025.
A release window for MobLand’s Season 2 has been confirmed for 2026. Paramount+ released a new ad that featured the narration of Helen Mirren, who stars in MobLand.
The ad also included a confirmation of Season 2 of the crime series. European channels reported that filming was taking place in Mallorca, Spain.
According to online sources, part of the crime series would be shot at the Formentor peninsula’s Sa Fortalesa. The production of MobLand is expected to span over four days.
In an interview, Tom Hardy further hinted at potential international locations for the future of the series. Another actress, Mandeep Dhillon, who plays Seraphina Harrigan, posted an Instagram story showing the new location in Spain.
Season 2 Cast
Lead characters, Harry Da Souza and members of the Irish crime family, played by Tom Hardy, Helen Mirren and Pierce Brosnan, are expected to return in the second season of the hit crime series.
Along with the lead stars, the show will also bring back other actors, including Janet McTeer, Toby Jones, and Alex Fine, Paddy Considine, Joanne Froggatt, Lara Pulver, Anson Boon, Mandeep Dhillon, Jasmine Jobson, Emmett Scanlan, and Teddie Allen.
The series is expected to introduce new characters, with Johnny Flynn and Ophelia Lovibond joining as regulars.
Fans speculate the addition of new actors is tied to new characters within the existing gangs in the show. Toby Jones’ Colin Tattersall, task force head, is expected to recruit new allies which implies the addition of new police officers as well.
