The Rawalpindi Traffic Police has issued a traffic advisory in connection with the first ODI between Pakistan and Australia scheduled for Saturday.
According to the advisory, special parking arrangements have been made for spectators to help ease traffic congestion and facilitate smooth access to the stadium. Authorities say the measures aim to ensure minimal disruption for citizens while assisting cricket fans attending the match.
Roads leading to and from the stadium have been closed, and alternative routes have been arranged to ensure that citizens do not face any inconvenience.
The three-match ODI series between Pakistan and Australia begins tomorrow, with the first match to be played in Rawalpindi.
After a whitewash in the Test series against Bangladesh, the Green Shirts will now face Australia on home soil. Facing a different format and opponent will be a new test for the Pakistan team.
The first match of the ODI series will be played at Pindi Cricket Stadium tomorrow, while the next two matches will take place at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
The visiting team’s problems have increased further with the exclusion of Mitchell Marsh. Despite recent defeats, the Falcons have a strong opportunity to challenge the struggling Kangaroos on home ground.
