A US-based B52 Stratofortress bomber aircraft crashed just after its takeoff at an airbase in California on June 16.
The US Air Force bomber plane just took off from Edwards Air Force Base in southern California, as per the statement issued by the base authorities.
The statement also added that the emergency crew immediately responded to the scene and is currently monitoring the crash site. More information will be provided as it becomes available.
The crash occurred at 12:20am as per Pakistani time.
The base has yet to issue any kind of statement telling what the actual reason behind the crash or how many injuries have occurred so far.
Meanwhile, in a news release, the officials of the base have confirmed that the B52 Stratofortress was carrying eight people, and the crash was not survivable.
The press release also stated that emergency response are still on the site examining the whole situation.
“The crash is under investigation”, said the press release.

Donald Trump announces peace deal with Iran
The US President, Donald Trump, has announced a deal with the Islamic Republic of Iran and has congratulated all on this.
In his post on Truth Social, he said, “The deal with the Islamic Republic of Iran is now complete. Congratulations to all!”
The US President also asked the military forces to immediately remove the US Naval blockade at the Strait of Hormuz.
Trump added that I fully authorise the toll-free opening of the Strait of Hormuz, and hereby authorise the immediate removal of the US Naval blockade ships.
He stated that ships of the world, start your engines. Let the oil flow.
The Prime Minister (PM) of Pakistan, Shehbaz Sharif, has also officially announced a peace deal between the US and Iran.
In his tweet on June 15, PM Shehbaz said, “Following intensive talks, we are pleased to announce that the Peace Deal between the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran has been REACHED”.
The peace deal signing ceremony will take place in Switzerland on June 19.
