Victoria Beckham has finally spoken out amid ongoing tensions with her son, Brooklyn Peltz Beckham, offering a brief but emotional response to the public family dispute.
In an interview with WSJ. Magazine, the 51-year-old addressed questions about her eldest son without naming him directly, mentioning the family’s enduring bond. She stated that she and David Beckham have always tried to be the best parents possible and have focused on loving and protecting their children despite decades in the public eye.
Victoria has largely remained silent since January, when Brooklyn publicly accused his parents of interfering in his marriage to Nicola Peltz Beckham. In a series of social media posts, he alleged that his parents spread false claims, prioritised publicity over family, and attempted to damage his relationship.
He further claimed they pressured him over rights to his name before his wedding and accused Victoria of disrupting a key moment during his celebration. Brooklyn also stated he had stayed quiet for years but chose to speak out after repeated media leaks, adding that he does not wish to reconcile and is standing up for himself.
Following the controversy, David Beckham also appeared to respond publicly. Victoria’s latest remarks now mark her first significant response to the highly publicised family rift.
Paris Jackson caught up in legal battle over Michael Jackson’s estate
In a separate development, Paris Jackson earlier said that the executors of her late father, Michael Jackson’s estate, are using the King of Pop’s funds to publicly attack her amid the legal battle regarding his billion-dollar estate.
The 28-year-old actress is a beneficiary of Michael Jackson’s estate, which is currently valued at over $2 billion, alongside her brothers Prince, 29, and Bigi, 24.
Nevertheless, Paris expressed her concerns last July about the alleged mismanagement of Jackson’s finances by executors John Branca and John McClain after she reportedly observed irregular payments.
Paris Jackson later on accused the attorneys of “skimming money” from her father’s estate amid the legal battle.
However, Branca and McClain have denied all accusations made against them.
Following several months of court hearings and exchanges between the two parties, the co-executors recently presented an 83-page status report once again dismissing Paris’s allegations, which led to her latest filing on April 6, where she accused them of attempting to destroy her reputation in public.
“This overlitigation is waste,” Paris’s filing stated, as per court documents reviewed by The Independent. “At nearly every hearing… Executors try to avoid the merits by characterising Paris’s concerns as lawyer-driven or in service of some purported desire for media attention. Neither is true.”
Who is Paris Jackson?
Paris-Michael Katherine Jackson is a model, actress, and singer from the United States. As of April 2026, she is becoming more engaged in the music industry, recently promoting her single and music video titled “zombies in love,” alongside the controversial legal battle concerning her father Michael Jackson’s multi-billion dollar estate.
Paris has stated that she has “zero per cent involvement” in the forthcoming biopic Michael, which is scheduled for release on April 24, 2026, and has criticised the choice of Miles Teller for the role of executor John Branca, deeming it a move driven by vanity.
