Kohli’s 139-run effort off the West Indies was the 55th century of his ODI career.

Virat Kohli crossed the 15,000-run mark in ODI cricket in his 303rd innings. This way he became the first batsman to reach the milestone in lesser number of innings than Sachin Tendulkar.
Sachin Tendulkar has amassed 18,426 runs with 377 innings in his glittering ODI career.
Kohli has hit this milestone in a consistent way, and his speed to achieve it was a testament to his consistent run scoring ability in the ODI format.

The Indian side easily chased the 296-run target set by the West Indies in the first ODI. Indian side made it with only a loss of two wickets.
