WhatsApp soon to launch scheduled messages

WhatsApp soon to launch scheduled messages

WhatsApp may soon enable all users to send messages automatically in chats, as it is developing a message scheduling feature anticipated to function in both individual and group chats.

This information has been revealed by WABetaInfo, who identified this feature currently in development within the beta version 26.7.10.72 of WhatsApp for iOS.

This feature, potentially named Scheduled Messages, would allow users to send messages automatically by scheduling them ahead of time.

Users can simply compose a message and then select the date and time for automatic delivery.

The scheduled messages will also appear in a “Scheduled Messages” section on the chat info screen, allowing users to delete them prior to delivery.

However, the Scheduled Messages feature is still in development and is not yet accessible to beta users, meaning there is no assurance it will be publicly released, as plans may change.

WhatsApp Web call rollout

Earlier this month, WhatsApp introduced the rollout of WhatsApp Web calls, marking a significant update for users both in Pakistan and globally.

With this new functionality, users are now able to make voice and video calls directly from their web browsers. In the past, WhatsApp calls were restricted to mobile applications or hybrid desktop versions.

Now, users can experience real-time communication without the need to install extra software.

This feature demonstrates WhatsApp’s commitment to enhancing accessibility and convenience for desktop users.

By allowing calls to be made directly in the browser, the platform ensures that users remain connected more effectively.
