WEBDESK: Zong is now providing an “Advance Loan Service” to its customers for their convenience. This feature allows users to instantly access credit for calls, SMS, and internet usage.
This feature has an option of “Super Advance Loan” which is designed to cater to both high and low recharge customers.
Under this system, the customers who have recharged more than PKR 650 in the last 90 days or 3 months will be eligible for a Super Advance Loan of up to PKR 60 per recharge. A service fee of PKR 8 plus tax will be applied to customers for each transaction.
On the other hand, the customers who will have a monthly recharge of less than PKR 650 will be able to access an Advance Loan of PKR 30 per recharge. A service fee of PKR 4.5 plus tax per transaction will be applied.
The customers will be allowed to take two Advance Loans per recharge. This will mean that high-recharge customers can get a total of PKR 60 in one recharge cycle.
The low-recharge customers will be able to get up to PKR 30. The service also provides flexibility to the users. It’s up to them to request single or double loans depending on their needs.
How to access the service?
If a user wants to access the service, the Zong customers can do two things. They can dial *911# or send a blank SMS to 6911. They can also use the “Get Loan” option in the My Zong app.
If a user wants to take a second loan, the same process has to be repeated after receiving the first loan.
It is important to note that there are some conditions with this service. If you are a new SIM user, you can not avail the Advance Loan service for the first 30 days.
Additionally, Zong can also recover unused loans after 30 days. Zong can also deduct outstanding loan amounts along with service charges from the customer’s main account balance.
They can also deduct it from SIMs registered under the same CNIC.
Zong, with this service, aims to provide users with immediate access to mobile credit.
Ensuring that messages, calls and internet use are never interrupted due to a low balance.
