The Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) has announced the written examination results for the Combined Competitive Examination 2025, with 344 candidates provisionally qualifying for psychological tests and interviews.

The candidates are competing for 119 BS-17 posts in the Punjab government.

The vacancies include 80 posts of Provincial Management Service (PMS), 25 posts of Excise and Taxation Officer and 14 posts of Assistant Director Local Fund Audit.

The PPSC said the written examination, Phase-II, was conducted from April 24 to May 11, 2026.

The 80 PMS posts include 61 seats on open merit, 16 for the minorities quota and three for special persons.

The Excise and Taxation Officer vacancies include 24 posts on open merit and one minority quota seat.

The Assistant Director Local Fund Audit posts include 12 open merit seats, one minority quota seat and one seat for visually impaired candidates.

The commission said call-up letters for the psychological test and interview will be uploaded on its website soon.

Successful candidates will also receive information through SMS and email.

Candidates will have to bring their original academic certificates and other required documents to the psychological test and interview.

The PPSC will verify candidates’ eligibility under the conditions mentioned in the advertisement and relevant service rules.

The PMS examination is among Punjab’s major competitive recruitment examinations. It is conducted by the PPSC to recruit officers for provincial government departments.

The PPSC has also introduced recruitment reforms aimed at making its selection process more merit-based. In 2025, the commission announced that academic marks would no longer carry weight in determining merit, with greater emphasis placed on examination results and interviews.

The final selection for the 119 posts will be made after completion of the remaining stages of the recruitment process.
