According to Arab media, the Saudi Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development has issued the date for the National Day holiday for employees in both the private and public sectors.
The Ministry stated that Wednesday, September 23, 2026, will be a public holiday for employees in both sectors. The date corresponds to 12 Rabi’ al-Thani 1448 AH.
Officials noted that the decision regarding the National Day holiday was made in accordance with Article 24 of the Executive Regulations of the Saudi Labour Law.
It is worth noting that Saudi Arabia celebrates National Day annually on September 23. It is an occasion that is marked by the organisation of various events.
