Saudi Arabia has announced a new facility for skilled foreign workers applying for work visas. Pakistanis can also benefit from the new facility.
Under the new process, eligible professionals can apply for visas for their families while their own work visa is being processed.
This will allow workers to bring their families to Saudi Arabia without waiting for a long period after receiving their work visas.
Who can apply for family visas?
Qualified professionals can sponsor certain family members under the new process.
The eligible family members include:
- Spouse
- Sons under 25 years of age
- Unmarried daughters
The family visa process can be completed at the same time as the worker’s work visa. Applicants must meet all the required conditions before submitting their applications.
Once the requirements are completed, entry visas for eligible family members can also be issued.
What happens after the family arrives?
After entering Saudi Arabia, the family members will have to complete their residency procedures.
The required residence permits, known as iqamas, will be issued according to Saudi Arabia’s rules and regulations.
The new process is expected to make it easier for skilled foreign workers to move to the Kingdom with their families.
