Storyline of Mobland
MobLand is a British crime drama about two rival London criminal families, the Harrigans and the Stevensons, whose conflict threatens to trigger a violent struggle for power.
At the centre is Harry Da Souza, played by Tom Hardy. Harry is a fixer: someone who handles dangerous problems, manages delicate situations and tries to prevent disputes from destroying the criminal organisation he serves.
The Harrigans are led by Conrad Harrigan, played by Pierce Brosnan, and his wife, Maeve, played by Helen Mirren. Their family’s internal divisions are just as dangerous as the threats posed by their rivals.
The second season continues the story, with Harry caught between competing loyalties as tensions within the Harrigan family intensify and new adversaries emerge.
The series combines organised crime, family politics, betrayals and violent confrontations. Its appeal lies not only in the action but also in the struggle for control within the families.

Tom Hardy career
Tom Hardy, born in London in 1977, has built a career around physically demanding roles, complex characters and performances that often rely on body language as much as dialogue.
His earlier career included television and supporting film roles before he became an internationally recognised leading actor.
Some of his best-known films include:
· The Dark Knight Rises (2012): Hardy played Bane, the physically imposing antagonist who challenges Christian Bale’s Batman. The role introduced him to a much wider global audience.
· Mad Max: Fury Road (2015): He played Max Rockatansky in the acclaimed post-apocalyptic action film.
· Legend (2015): Hardy portrayed both Ronnie and Reggie Kray, the notorious twin gangsters, in a dual role.
· The Revenant (2015): He played John Fitzgerald in the survival drama, earning an Academy Award nomination for best supporting actor.
· Venom (2018), Venom: Let There Be Carnage (2021) and Venom: The Last Dance (2024): Hardy starred as Eddie Brock, the journalist who becomes host to the alien symbiote Venom.
· Warrior (2011): He played an emotionally troubled former Marine who enters a mixed martial arts tournament.
Based on audience reception and the series’ overall performance, the crime thriller MobLand is a success and a hit.
Paramount+ reported 8.8 million global viewers in the first week and 26 million viewers by June 2025.
Paramount+ has renewed the show for a third season, a further sign that the platform sees value in continuing the story.
