What is "Talk to CM" portal? see how to use it in simple steps

The Government of Punjab has launched a new digital platform called ‘Talk to CM’ that will allow people to directly share their ideas and feedback with Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif.

The portal has been formally launched by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz as part of the government’s efforts to increase youth participation in governance and decision making.

What is the Talk to CM Portal?

The Talk to CM or Talk to the Chief Minister portal is a digital complaint and feedback system that has been introduced by the Punjab government.

It is part of Maryam Nawaz’s digital governance initiatives. The project has been designed to reduce the gap between citizens and the provincial leadership.

Some of the most important features of the portal include these:

  • You can give a direct feedback: Citizens can send complaints, suggestions, and ideas directly to the Chief Minister’s office.
  • It has multiple channels: The service is available through the CM Punjab web portal, a mobile app, and SMS.
  • A tracking system: Each complaint is given a reference number so users can track the progress of their complaint.
  • It has a vst coverage: The portal handles issues related to health, education, law and order, and social welfare programs such as the Nigahban Ramadan scheme.

How to Use the portal?

  1. First, you have to visit the Chief Minister’s Complaint Centre website to register and submit complaints.
  2. Then, the applicants have to provide their CNIC, contact details, and a short description of the issue they want to convey.
  3. Lastly, if you want to use the mobile app, the CM Punjab Complaint App is also available on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

Send your suggestions directly to CM Maryam

Senior Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb briefed about the platform. She called it the first initiative of its kind in Punjab’s history.

She said the portal has been designed to give young people across the province a direct communication channel with the chief minister.

According to Marriyum Aurangzeb, the platform allows users to submit suggestions and feedback on government programs and development projects.

Young citizens can also share their ideas along with basic personal details through a dedicated online interface.

The platform includes a separate section for users aged 20 years and above. It offers different interfaces for different age groups.

She further said that Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has declared 2026 as the ‘Year of Youth.’
