Household registration drive starts

Under the vision of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz, Women Community Health Inspectors have initiated a household registration drive in Rawalpindi district to provide basic healthcare services at residents’ doorsteps.

Following registration and data collection through a dedicated digital system, the process of delivering essential medical facilities to households will begin.

Chief Executive Officer, District Health Authority, Dr Ehsan Ghani, stated that a comprehensive mechanism will be implemented to conduct follow-up visits, medical check-ups, and necessary diagnostic tests for households that complete the registration process.

He further stated that this initiative reflects the vision of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz to provide free medical treatment facilities to women at their doorsteps.

It is worth mentioning that the Chief Minister of Punjab had launched the province’s first Community Health Inspectors Program, aimed at providing healthcare services to every household and ensuring timely disease diagnosis.

A total of 55,000 Community Health Inspectors from across Punjab attended the launch ceremony at the Punjab Hockey Stadium. The Chief Minister welcomed the inspectors from all districts, walking along the stadium track and responding to their slogans by waving to them.

Maryam Nawaz Sharif said, “When mothers, sisters, and daughters step into the field, no one can defeat Punjab. The daughters of Punjab will change the destiny of this province.” She added that 25,000 Community Health Inspectors will be deployed to households to identify diseases and provide initial treatment.
