Countdown to FIFA World Cup 2026: How many days Left?

Football’s world governing body, FIFA, has unveiled the official poster for the 2026 World Cup, marking 100 days until the start of the tournament.

The poster celebrates the culture and creativity of the host nations, Canada, Mexico and the United States.

It serves as the final and most significant piece in the FIFA World Cup 2026 poster collection, complementing the posters of the 16 host cities that were released last year.

For the first time in history, artists from three different countries, Carson Ting (Canada), Minerva GM (Mexico), and Hank Willis Thomas (USA), collaborated to create the official poster.

The design reflects the unifying power of football and the spirit of cooperation among the three host nations.

FIFA President’s statement

FIFA President Gianni Infantino said on the occasion that exactly 100 days from now, FIFA will welcome the world to North America.

The official poster captures the energy and diversity that are expected to make this tournament the most inclusive edition in history, he added.

The competition will kick off on June 11 at Mexico City Stadium, and the final will be held on July 19 at New Jersey Stadium in New York. A record 104 matches will be played during the tournament.

So far, 42 teams have qualified, including Jordan, Uzbekistan, Cape Verde and Curaçao, who will be making their World Cup debuts. The remaining six teams will be determined through playoff matches scheduled from March 23 to March 31.

Last-minute ticket sales for fans will begin in April, with tickets available on a first-come, first-served basis. Supporters seeking a premium experience can already book hospitality packages through FIFA’s official website.
