PCB releases schedule for PSL11

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the official schedule for the much awaited 11th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL 11). The tournament will take place from March 26 to May 3, 2026.

Matches will be played in six cities as per the schedule. These cities are Faisalabad, Karachi, Lahore, Multan, Peshawar and Rawalpindi.

For the first time, Faisalabad and Peshawar will also host PSL matches for PSL 11.

The season will also include eight teams for the first time. A total of 44 matches will be played in 39 days.

PSL 11 teams

The teams taking part are Hyderabad Kingsmen, Islamabad United, Karachi Kings, Lahore Qalandars, Multan Sultans, Peshawar Zalmi, Quetta Gladiators and Rawalpindi Pindiz.

Two new teams have joined the PSL this season. Hyderabad Kingsmen and Rawalpindi Pindiz were added after the PSL auction.

Each team will play 10 matches in the group stage. The top four teams will qualify for the knock out stage.

The playoffs will include Qualifier 1, Eliminator, Qualifier 2 and the Final. These matches will be played from April 28 to May 3.

The final will take place at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on Sunday, May 3. A reserve day for the final has also been set for Monday, May 4.

The tournament will feature 12 double header match days. Three of these will take place in Lahore.

Gaddafi Stadium Lahore

Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore will host 15 matches. These include the opening match on March 26 between Lahore Qalandars and Hyderabad Kingsmen.

Lahore Qalandars, the winners of the 2022, 2023 and 2025 seasons, will play at least five matches at Gaddafi Stadium.

Their match against Karachi Kings is scheduled for March 29. The venue will also host double header matches on March 29, April 19 and April 25.

Imran Khan Cricket Stadium Peshawar

Imran Khan Cricket Stadium in Peshawar will also host PSL matches for the first time. The stadium was previously known as Arbab Niaz Cricket Stadium.

It last hosted an international match 20 years ago when Pakistan played India in an ODI on February 6, 2006.

The first PSL match at the stadium will be played on March 28 between Peshawar Zalmi and Rawalpindi Pindiz.

It will be an afternoon match. The stadium is currently hosting matches of the National T20 Cup.

Iqbal Stadium in Faisalabad

Iqbal Stadium in Faisalabad will host seven matches in the upcoming season. This will be the first time the city will host PSL matches.

Lahore Qalandars will play four matches at the venue. Peshawar Zalmi will play three matches there.

The first match in Faisalabad will be played on April 9 between Lahore Qalandars and Islamabad United. It will be an afternoon match.

Multan Cricket Stadium

Multan Cricket Stadium in Multan will host four evening matches. All of these matches will feature the home team Multan Sultans.

The first match at the venue will take place on April 1 between Multan Sultans and Hyderabad Kingsmen.

National Bank Stadium Karachi

National Bank Stadium in Karachi will host six matches. The stadium hosted PSL finals in 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2024.

Karachi Kings and Hyderabad Kingsmen will play three matches each at the venue.

Peshawar Zalmi and Islamabad United will play two matches each there. The first match at the stadium will take place on April 8 between Hyderabad Kingsmen and Peshawar Zalmi.

Another match between Hyderabad Kingsmen and Karachi Kings will take place at the venue on April 11.

Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium

Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi will host 11 matches, including one Qualifier. The venue will also host two double header match days on April 2 and April 26.

Islamabad United and Rawalpindi Pindiz will serve as the home teams at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.

Islamabad United will play six matches there. Rawalpindi Pindiz will play five matches.

The two teams will face each other at least twice in the group stage. Their first match is scheduled for April 4. The second match will take place on April 23.
