Chery, working with Master Auto Engineering, is gearing up to deliver the Tiggo 8 PHEV to pre-registered customers in April 2026.
The model debuted at the Pakistan Auto Show, November 2025 event and this was followed by a preview campaign across different parts of the country.
Following the high demand in the market, the price was revised by the company for Rs11,299,000 effective from February 1, 2026.
This rollout is part of Chery’s customer-first philosophy under Chery’s “HELLO CHERY” approach with a focus on innovation, reliability and a technology-driven ownership experience.
The Tiggo PHEV Range is one of the most advanced plug-in hybrid SUV ranges in Pakistan.
Led by the Tiggo 8 PHEV, it is placed as the country’s only 7-seater plug-in hybrid D-segment SUV, which caters to the demand of efficiency and performance of contemporary families.
Powered by Chery Super Hybrid (CSH) technology, the Tiggo 8 PHEV is powered by a 496 horsepower and 735 Nm torque.
It has an electric only driving range of up to 90 km with a total driving range of around 1200 km combining fuel economy with long distance driving.
Inside, the SUV focuses on luxury and comfort, with convenience being a top feature. It has a wide three-row layout, sophisticated infotainment and a quality Sony audio system.
The inside is designed to give better comfort to the passenger, especially when travelling a long distance.
Additional highlights include the Queen Co-Pilot zero gravity massage seat, extensive soft touch interior surfaces and heating and ventilation function.
A driver-focused speaker is an additional way of enhancing the in-cabin experience, thus presenting a refined and personal in-car environment.
Safety is a priority and the Tiggo 8 PHEV has five-star global safety ratings.
It has 10 airbags and advanced driver assistance systems and provides a high level of protection as well as intelligent driving support.
To complement the expansion, Chery is developing a nationwide network of 3S dealerships, which currently has 10 dealerships with a plan of 20 by 2027.
Globally, Chery is present in more than 120 countries with more than 18.5 million customers.
