The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has announced multiple job vacancies for the year 2026.
As per the job advertisement released by the department, FIA has invited applications for the following positions, including Assistant (BS-15), Sub-Inspector (BS-14), Stenotypist (BS-14), Upper Division Clerk (BS-13), Lower Division Clerk (BS-11), Assistant Sub-Inspector (BS-09), Constable (BS-05), Constable Driver (BS-05), and Staff Car Driver (BS-04).
The job scale ranges from BS-04 to BS-15.
The deadline to apply for the posts is May 4, 2026.

Here is a complete step-by-step process of how to apply for the FIA job vacancies.
Step 1: Check your eligibility
Check whether you are eligible to apply for the post or not
- Age: ranges from 18-25, 18-28, and even 18-30 for some posts
- Education: Matric, Intermediate, and Graduation as per the post
Step 2: Go to the online Portal
- Visit the National Police Force Testing Service by visiting the official website npftas.pk
- Create an account by signing up, and fill in the credentials as required.
- After this, create your profile, select the job and apply for it.

Step 3: Fee payment
After successful completion, the system will generate a PSID (24-digit number).
Pay Rs2000 per post through the following platforms: Bank ATM, Easypaisa, JazzCash, UPaisa.
Step 4: Confirmation message
After your application is submitted, you’ll get updates through SMS or email.

Further selection
Physical test
A physical test will be conducted for the posts of ASI, SI and Constables only.
The applicants have to pass the running test of one mile (1.6 km).
For males, seven minutes and ten minutes for females.
Written Test
A written test will be conducted, which will be a computer-based test. Only those who pass the physical test can appear in the written test.
There will be a skill test as well for the clerical jobs, which includes a typing test (LDC/ UDC), shorthand (Stenotypist).
Interview
After shortlisting, the candidates will appear in the interview for further selection.
It is in the best interest of the applicants to bring original documents like CNIC, domicile, and educational degrees.
Medical Test
There will be a final medical check by the government doctor of those candidates who have been cleared in the interview.
Final Selection
If you luckily pass all stages, you will have a job offer with a posting anywhere in Pakistan.
