Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held a telephonic conversation with Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud to discuss the evolving regional situation and efforts for peace.
During the call, both leaders reviewed the latest developments in the region and exchanged views on key challenges affecting stability. They stressed that dialogue and diplomatic engagement remain essential tools for achieving lasting peace and avoiding further escalation.
Ministry of Foreign Affairs wrote in a post on X, “Deputy Prime Minister / Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar spoke this evening with Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud. The two leaders discussed the latest regional developments and emphasised the importance of dialogue and engagement for achieving lasting peace and stability. Saudi FM reiterated the Kingdom’s support for Pakistan’s continued efforts in this regard. The two leaders agreed to remain in close contact.”
The Saudi foreign minister reaffirmed the Kingdom’s support for Pakistan’s constructive role in promoting peace and stability. He appreciated Pakistan’s continued efforts to encourage dialogue and reduce tensions in the region.
Ishaq Dar highlighted Pakistan’s commitment to peaceful solutions and reiterated that diplomacy must remain the primary path forward. He emphasised the importance of cooperation among regional partners to address shared concerns and maintain stability.
Both leaders agreed that ongoing communication and coordination are crucial during uncertain times. They also discussed the need to strengthen bilateral ties and continue working together on regional and international platforms.
The conversation reflects close cooperation between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia on key foreign policy matters. Both sides expressed satisfaction over their strong relationship and reaffirmed their commitment to further enhancing collaboration.
