The well-known journalist, Najam Sethi, said in an interview on India’s private media channel that the Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir are on the same page. He also said that the Pakistani civilian and military leadership are making efforts for peace in the region.
Najam Sethi also said that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir are constantly in contact with each other and are trying hard to find a permanent solution to the US-Iran conflict.
Najam Sethi also said that several world leaders are praising Pakistan’s role as a mediator and urging Pakistan’s leadership to continue efforts to end the war between the US and Iran.
The well-known journalist stated, “I think Pakistan has arrived at a place where its importance is now being recognised as a player in the Middle East.”
Najam Sethi responded to a question related to terrorism that Pakistan is not exporting terrorism in India, but Pakistan’s current civil and military leadership are more focused on Pakistan’s betterment.
He also said that India didn’t get sympathy from anywhere, adding that nobody believed India’s story.
At the end of the interview, the Indian anchor was also convinced that Pakistan is playing a key role as the mediator between the US and Iran.
