The National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICD) has announced new job opportunities for 2026 at its Karachi facility.

The institute is offering contract-based positions in different medical and technical fields.

Interested candidates have been advised to check the required qualifications and experience and apply before the last date.

Medical jobs Pakistan: eligibility criteria

For Consultant Emergency Services, candidates have to follow the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) rules and have 3–5 years of experience after qualification.

They should also have experience at the Professor level in cardiac emergency services. Sindh quota will also apply for this post.

For Senior Registrar, candidates must have completed a fellowship in infectious diseases before the closing date and should not be older than 35 years.

For a staff nurse, applicants need a BSc Nursing or diploma. In addition, at least one year of hospital experience and a valid license from the Pakistan Nursing Council is also needed. The maximum age is 25 years.

For a CSSD Technician, candidates must have matriculation and a relevant diploma and two years of experience. The age limit is 28 years for this post.

For Trainee Technician (cath lab), applicants need to have a BS in cardiovascular sciences. Fresh graduates can also apply, and the maximum age has been set at 25 years.

All positions are on a contract basis. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the test or interview.

Candidates have to bring original documents at the time of the interview. Late or incomplete applications will not be accepted. In addition to this, no travel allowance will be given.

How to apply

For the Staff Nurse position, candidates must apply online through the National Testing Service portal. They need to fill out the form carefully. They also need to pay a fee of Rs800 and submit the application online.

For all other positions, candidates should prepare their CV and attach required documents like educational certificates, experience letters, and CNIC.
