The Pakistan Ulema Council (PUC) have declared the Prime Minister (PM) of Pakistan, Shehbaz Sharif, and Field Marshal, Syed Asim Munir, as ‘Quaideen-e-Aman.’
In their sixth session of the International Message of Islam Conference held in Islamabad on May 6, the Ulemas paid tribute to the Armed Forces of Pakistan for the successful achievement of Marka-e-Haq and expressed their full support with the Government and Pakistan Army.
The participants took this opportunity to express full solidarity with the Pakistan Army for its role in national security.
Head of Pakistan Ulema Council Hafiz Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi read out the declaration and said that the conference was successfully held in gratitude to Allah.
He said that the army stands with Pakistan for the security of the scholars and the country.
The announcement congratulated PM Shehbaz and the Field Marshal by pledging “principled peace.”
Tahir Ashrafi also strongly condemned the attacks by Israel and the US on Iran.
The conference also condemned the murder of Maulana Idrees and the regrettable incident.
Hafiz Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi further said that the special participation of the Imam of the Kaaba is expected in the upcoming 7th session of Islam’s Message Conference, which will increase the global importance of the conference.
The conference participants expressed their desires to continue their efforts to promote peace, tolerance and interfaith harmony and play a common role in the stability and security of Pakistan.

The Pakistan armed forces released an important message on the first anniversary of Marq-e-Haq.
The Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) issued a press release on May 6, 2026, in this regard.
The message said, “On the first anniversary of Mark-e-Haq, the forces paid tribute to the decisive and historic achievement of the Pakistan Army, especially the Pakistan Air Force (PAF), and national defence.”
“Marka-e-Haq renewed national confidence, strengthened institutional commitment and proved to the world the advanced combat readiness of the PAF”, said the press release.
The armed forces praised the Pakistan Air Force, saying that PAF is emerging as the air force of the future through advanced technology, smart systems and niche and disruptive capabilities.
Expertise in multi-domain operations has made the Air Force an effective and decisive force compatible with the requirements of modern air warfare, it added.
“The operations performed during Marka-e-Haq were unique, unusual and a demonstration of high professionalism in the history of air warfare. The achievements of PAF strengthened the confidence, morale and patriotism of the Pakistani nation.
Pakistan is a peaceful country, while its armed forces are responsible and mature strategic thinkers.
