Higher Education Commission (HEC) has launched a fully digital and paperless Degree Attestation System (DAS) to make the attestation process easier for students and graduates across Pakistan.
Under the new online system, applicants can submit degree attestation requests at any time through the official portal: HEC e-Services Portal
With growing interest in the new facility, applicants are also seeking information about the attestation charges and application procedure.
Degree Attestation Fee
The attestation fee has been set at Rs3,000 per document, including:
- Degree
- Transcript
- Provisional Certificate
- HEC Equivalence Letter
After completing the application, applicants must pay the fee through 1-Link (1-Bill). A consumer number is automatically generated when the “Proceed for Payment” option is selected.
Payments can be made through online banking channels, after which applicants need to click the “Verify Payment” button. Once the payment is verified, the application is automatically submitted to HEC.
How to Apply Online
New users must first create an account through the portal, while existing users can log in using their registered credentials.
Applicants are required to:
- Select the “Degree Attestation” option
- Enter personal information including name, father’s name, CNIC details, date of birth, gender, marital status, and address
- Ensure all details match their CNIC and educational documents
Candidates must then provide complete academic details from Matric and Intermediate up to their final degree, including education level, degree title, institution, session and registration or roll number.
Applicants should only select the degree programs and documents they want attested.
Required Documents
Users must upload clear scanned copies of:
- CNIC (front and back)
- Academic certificates and transcripts
- Degrees and other supporting documents
Verification and e-Attestation
After submission, HEC reviews the application and verifies personal information through National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) and relevant universities.
Once verification is completed and all requirements are fulfilled, HEC issues an e-Attestation Certificate. Applicants are informed through SMS and email and can download the certificate directly from their HEC online account.
