Sumud Flotilla activists released from Israeli detention

All 430 Gaza-bound Global Sumud Flotilla activists, including Pakistani activists, have been released from Israeli detention, the international media outlet reported on Thursday.

Israel released all the apprehended activists, including Saad Edhi from Pakistan.

Several activists confirmed that Israeli forces tortured them mentally and physically during custody. At the same time, multiple activists confirmed that their ribs broke due to physical torture by the Israeli forces.

“All foreign activists from the PR flotilla have been deported from Israel. Israel will not permit any breach of the lawful naval blockade on Gaza,” Israel’s foreign ministry spokesman Oren Marmorstein said on Thursday.

On the other hand, more than 10 countries officially condemned the action of Israeli forces and termed it a clear violation of international law and international humanitarian law.
