Google’s new AI feature to replace game guides

Google has announced the release of a new AI feature that can potentially replace game guides.

This transition suggests a larger change that is already in progress that individuals are depending less on conventional game guides and increasingly on AI-generated responses.

This same transition may soon extend to gaming itself, where players might not need to exit a game to seek assistance.

Google’s recent announcements, including Gemini Omni and Gemini Spark, indicate this direction.

Unveiled during Google I/O 2026, Omni is intended to produce content across various formats, integrating text, images, audio, and video at the same time. Google claims it combines reasoning with creation, enabling users to generate and edit videos using straightforward prompts.

Regarding its potential applications, this technology could transform how individuals engage with and play video games in the future.

In essence, instead of pausing to search for solutions, an AI agent could observe players in real-time and provide assistance as needed.

Game walkthroughs are now a thing of the past with Google’s new AI feature.

Google Search gets major upgrade

Google has announced it is rolling out its largest upgrade to its Search box in 25 years.

The enhanced Search can predict your intent with AI-driven suggestions and facilitate conversational follow-ups within AI Mode and AI Overviews.

For instance, you will have the capability to pose more natural, detailed questions and participate in interactive dialogues, maintaining context, in a chatbot-like fashion

Search will now support multimodal inputs. This means that, besides text, users can search using files, videos, images, and even Chrome tabs.

Moreover, free users will gain access to improved personal intelligence features in AI Mode, enabling Search to link with Gmail and Google Photos to provide more contextually relevant responses.

Google states that these features are currently accessible in all countries and languages where AI Mode is available.
