Huawei nova Y74 revealed in global markets with a 6,620mAh battery

Huawei seems to have quietly launched the nova Y74 in global markets, about a year after the nova Y73 was introduced.

This budget 4G smartphone comes with a 6.67-inch display and a 6,620mAh battery, and it looks like a rebranded version of the Enjoy 90 Plus that was released in China in March.

Huawei nova Y74 specs

As per Huawei’s internal tests, this large battery can power the phone for up to 25 hours of continuous online video playback on a single charge.

The Huawei nova Y74 has a 6.67-inch LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate, HD+ resolution, and can reach up to 850 nits of peak brightness.

Huawei has not revealed the chipset that powers this device, but due to its close similarity to the Enjoy 90 Plus, it is probably equipped with a Kirin 800-series processor.

Powerful battery

The smartphone features a 6,620mAh battery that supports 40W wired fast charging.

Huawei says that the battery can provide up to 25 hours of online video playback on one charge.

Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.1, Wi-Fi, NFC, GPS, a USB Type-C port, and dual-SIM 4G support.

Huawei nova Y74 camera

The nova Y74 comes with a 50MP main rear camera located in a square camera module. On the front, there is an 8MP selfie camera for taking photos and making video calls.

The phone operates on EMUI 12 and includes Huawei’s X Button, which allows quick one-tap access to apps, shortcuts, and other features.

The Huawei nova Y74 is offered in Black and Blue colors.

It is important to note that Huawei has not yet provided information on pricing and availability for this device.
