Dr Mahnoor, who was injured in an acid attack, is expected to remain under treatment in the hospital for several more weeks.
According to sources, Dr Mahnoor has suffered deep injuries to her face, the outer parts of her eyes, lips, and nose. Doctors performed a lip reconstruction procedure on her yesterday, and a major plastic surgery is likely to be carried out within the next few hours.
Sources said that Dr Mahnoor’s eyesight remains intact, although she is experiencing severe psychological distress. An eye specialist has conducted a detailed examination and found only minor blurriness in her vision.
Hospital sources further stated that Dr Mahnoor is out of danger, but she may require multiple surgeries at different stages of her treatment. A team of specialist doctors has conducted various medical tests and is continuing consultations regarding her condition.
A final decision on the upcoming plastic surgery is expected to be made within the next few hours after the consultation process is completed.

Earlier, Balochistan Chief Minister (CM) Sarfraz Bugti announced a civil award for Abdul Razzaq, who tried to save Dr Mahnoor after an acid attack.
In a CCTV video capturing the attack on the doctor, it can be seen that when a man threw acid on her, Abdul Razzaq rushed to save her despite the acid being splashed everywhere.
Razzaq later sustained burns and collapsed on the floor while trying to save her.
The chief minister also spoke with him after the incident, praised his courage, and said he was proud of his bravery and spirit, adding that the government of Balochistan will bear all medical expenses for his treatment.
