Xiaomi Redmi Buds 8 have now been officially launched in global markets.
These markets include Germany and the United Kingdom (UK). The earbuds cost €50 in Germany on the official online store.
In the UK, the Redmi Buds 8 cost £40. They come in three colours, Green, Black and White.
These earbuds support high-quality wireless audio transmission. They may come with a launch discount in Germany.
Redmi Buds 8 features
A major feature of the Redmi Buds 8 is active noise cancellation (ANC). It is expected to reduce ambient sound by up to 50 dB.
In line with this, support for LHDC codec may allow high quality wireless audio transmission with reduced loss.
For sound, dual 11 mm drivers control audio output.
The Sound ID feature is also included in the new earbuds. It may allow audio playback based on the person’s hearing background along with what they may prefer.
The Redmi Buds 8 feature a battery life of up to 11 hours. It can even go up to 44 hours when the charging case is used.
However, enabling ANC can reduce battery life to 6.5 hours for the buds alone, nearly 28 hours in total.
Another cool feature, dust and water resistance helps protect the earbuds and prolong their life.
Noise cancellation can be customised
According to Redmi’s official website, they offer triple-mic AI noise reduction for clear calls in windy weather.
The algorithms of the earbuds can detect and automatically adjust noise cancellation that is best suited for the user.
The Redmi Buds 8 also come with three transparency mode levels, regular, voice mode and ambient sound mode,
Xiaomi Acoustic Labs also have guaranteed five EQ modes. They can be controlled to listen to different types of music.
These include controls for bass, treble, voice, balanced sound and volume.
