Earlier, the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) had urged all registered female beneficiaries to obtain and link a registered mobile SIM card to their accounts by June 30 to ensure uninterrupted receipt of financial assistance.
BISP has stated in a tweet posted on social media that those who have not registered their mobile phone for BISP should go to the nearest BISP office with their mobile phone and original Computerised National Identity Card (CNIC) to register their mobile phone.
The Programme stipulates that beneficiaries need to register their digital wallets at an authorised retailer of the designated partner bank within three days of getting the registered SIM card.
