Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar called Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud on Sunday to express condolences over a deadly helicopter crash in Ras Tanura that killed 14 people.
Dar conveyed sympathy on behalf of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, and the people of Pakistan. He described the loss of life as a national tragedy for Saudi Arabia.
Prince Faisal thanked Dar for the call and welcomed Pakistan’s “brotherly gesture” during the difficult time.The two ministers also reviewed regional developments and voiced shared concern over the current security situation.

Earlier, Pakistan stressed the need for all parties involved in the Middle East conflict to uphold the US-Iran ceasefire agreement.
During a call with the European Union High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas, Foreign Minister (FM) Ishaq Dar informed her about Pakistan’s continued efforts towards peace.
He also emphasised the necessity for all parties to abide by the ceasefire agreement.
