Sardar Aman files election affidavit, voices support for armed forces

An affidavit purportedly submitted by Sardar Aman, a member of the banned Joint Awami Action Committee (JAAC), as part of his election nomination papers has surfaced on social media, drawing attention to the commitments outlined in the document.

According to the affidavit, Aman declares that he believes in peaceful democratic politics and rejects hatred or activities that create divisions between the people of Pakistan and Kashmir.

The document also states that he supports Pakistan, its armed forces and state institutions, and is not opposed to any constitutional or government institution. Aman further declares that he will accept the results of the election.

The affidavit began circulating online after it was shared by several social media users, including journalist Syed Khalid Gardazi.

The document has generated discussion online because it appears to contrast with the rhetoric often associated with the banned Joint Awami Action Committee. However, no independent official confirmation of the authenticity of the circulated affidavit has yet been issued.
