The Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) has announced the official schedule for matches for the upcoming Prime Minister (PM) National Women’s Under-21 Hockey Championship 2026.
It is expected to begin on Thursday at the Naseer Bunda Hockey Stadium in Islamabad.
The Championship will include 13 teams which will be divided into four pools.
According to the PHF, the match schedule was revised because of heatwave across the country. Now, the updated schedule will be issued after managers are consulted.
The four pools include Pool A for Punjab-A, Gilgit-Baltistan and Star Women Academy, Pool B for KPK-A, Sindh-B, Mardan and AJK, Pool C for Sindh-A, KPK-B and Islamabad and Pool D for Punjab-B, Star Academy-A and Olympian Zakir Academy.
Mardan is set to face AJK in the opening match. The first day will also include matches such as Gilgit-Baltistan against Star Academy-B, KPK-A versus Sindh-B and Punjab-B opposing Star Academy-A.
The Pool matches are expected to continue till July 6. The following day, July 7, will be a rest day.
Semifinals for the PM National Women’s Under-21 Hockey Championship 2026 will take place on July 8. The final and third-place playoff will happen on July 9.
According to the PHF, team managers can file formal protests within the allowed time, supported by documentary evidence and the requested fee.
