Singer Asim Azhar has shared a video of himself reciting the Azaan in Melbourne, Australia.
He posted the video on Instagram yesterday, calling it “the best Friday ever”.
Although the video is old, Asim reshared it again.
Melbourne is home to approximately 300,000 to 320,000 Muslim residents.
Asim is currently on tour; his upcoming concerts are in the United Kingdom in September.
In June, he visited Egypt; before that, he was in Canada.
Recently, the singer was in the news for unarchiving several old posts on Instagram, including photos and videos featuring actor Hania Aamir.
Taking to his Instagram story, Azhar revealed, “Unarchived my posts for my fam who kept asking me to. It felt like going through a time machine. I had so much fun, not gonna lie.”
One of the restored posts was a video promoting Azhar’s song Sassi, which featured the pair dancing together, bringing back memories for longtime fans.
Azhar also resurfaced a 2020 post showing him presenting an award to Hania.
It is pertinent to mention that there are rumours the two stars will be getting married soon, however, neither of them has confirmed the speculation.
