Shah Abdul Latif University (SALU) in Khairpur has decided to cancel more than 1,200 suspected Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degrees that have been issued through its affiliated law colleges after an investigation found possible irregularities in academic records, according to reports on Wednesday.
According to the reports, SALU will soon issue a public notice about the cancellation process. The university will also ask affected people to verify the authenticity of their degrees.
The decision was made after a university committee reviewed records from the university and its affiliated law colleges.
