The Karachi Matric Board has announced the results of the Class 10 Science Group examinations on Friday today.
According to the board, a total of 176,152 students were registered for the exams. Out of them, 175,200 students appeared in the examinations.
A total of 141,688 students passed the exams, while 29,655 students were declared unsuccessful. The overall pass percentage was 80.87 per cent.
Among the successful students, 35,529 secured an A-1 grade, 51,022 obtained an A grade, 34,910 achieved a B grade, and 17,153 students received a C grade.
Karachi Board’s relief for female matric students
Recently, the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Karachi announced that female students will not be asked to remove their burqas or abayas during the exams.
BISE Karachi Chairman Ghulam Hussain said no cases of cheating involving female students have been reported.
He said that there is no need to ask students to remove their religious clothing. He also warned that action will be taken against any examination centre that does not follow these instructions.
The board has also directed that no male invigilators should be assigned to examination centres for female students.
Punjab Boards 2026 matric, intermediate result date
Yesterday, the Punjab Boards Committee of Chairmen (PBCC) also announced the result schedule for the 2026 annual Matric and Intermediate examinations.
According to the schedule, the Matric Part II, which is the 10th class, results will be announced on August 6, 2026.
Afterwards, the results of Matric Part I, which is the 9th class, will be announced on September 2, 2026.
The Intermediate Part II, which is the 12th class or the second year, results will be announced on September 23, 2026.
The PBCC also announced the schedule for supplementary examinations. The Matric supplementary exams will begin on October 6, 2026. Additionally, the Intermediate supplementary exams will start on November 3, 2026.
