TransPeshawar has increased the service hours for its ER-01 Express Route on the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) system, according to reports on Tuesday. The change will allow the passengers to travel later in the evening.
According to an official announcement, the last ER-01 bus will now leave at 8:30 PM instead of 8:00 PM. This gives commuters an extra 30 minutes to use the service.

Lahore introduces metro buses for women
Meanwhile, Punjab has also introduced a new step to improve public transport. The Lahore Metro Bus Service now has buses only for women.
The Transport and Mass Transit Department said five buses have been set aside for female passengers.
Five Speedo buses have been moved to the Metro Bus route so women can start using the service without waiting.
Punjab Transport Minister Bilal Akbar Khan said the decision was made to help protect women from harassment during busy hours. He said it will also make travel safer and reduce overcrowding.
He added that the move was made on the instructions of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz. She asked officials to give special attention to the safety of women who use public transport.
The minister also said that the government plans to increase these services in the future to improve public transport for women across Lahore.
